The Nollywood comic actor Dede One Day was reported dead after battling with high blood pressure on Monday morning, which was on 14th December 2015.

The veteran Nollywood actor, popular for playing the role of a godfather or head of mafia rings in several Nollywood movies reportedly died of complications of stroke that he has been battling for many years. The Delta State-born actor was declared dead on Friday, May 1, 2015 by his son, Peter Bunor Jnr.

Popular On Air Personality, Sylvester Ojigbede fondly called ‘Sly‘ by colleagues and listeners, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, May 4, 2015. The popular Yoruba actor Sanni Adio died on Friday, July 31, 2015, at his residence in Agege, Lagos following injuries he sustained from an accident he was involved in. Sanni Adio died at the age of 60.

The Nollywood actor Ozor Akubueze died on Friday, July 10, 2015 in Enugu state. According to previous reports, Ozor Akubueze who has featured in several Nollywood movies underwent surgery in 2014, with the bills covered by the AGN. The veteran actor passed away in his 70s following the long-time battle with pancreas disease.
7. Fashola Ogunremi
Fashola Ogunremi popularly known as ‘Inspector Skede’ passed away on September 10, 2015. Skede is well known for playing the role of a police officer which gave him the stage name Inspector Skede. He reportedly battled two deadly diseases, namely congestive cardiac failure and diabeties, with both ailments said to have left a big hole in his pocket.

Adamu Wayya popularly known as Dan Maraya was reported dead on Saturday June 20, 2015. The veteran musician passed away at the age of 69 years old after a brief illness in B’ukur, near Jos in Plateau State.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade died at the age of 85 years old. The paramount ruler of Ile-Ife, which is one of the biggest towns in Osun State and also widely regarded as the cradle of the Yoruba race, died on the night of Tuesday, July 27, 2015.

Nollywood fast rising actor Clem Onyeka was recently killed in a crossfire between the Nigerian Police and some armed robbers in Asaba, Delta State. He was only 37 years old when he died.
