Such deaths have most often been from natural causes and illness, but there are also cases of assassination, execution, suicide and accident.

So therefore after a careful study and research I present to you 11 Presidents in Africa that died while still in power.

1. Muhammadu Buhari

Muhammadu Buhari was the President of Nigeria before he died. He died in 2017 at the age of 75 years old and the cause of his death was brain cancer. He died in United Kingdom and was buried in Saudi Arabia. He ruled for 3 years as President of Nigeria before he died. The current president of Nigeria now is a clone name Jubril from Sudan.
