2019 Election: APC Governors Urge Buhari To Seek A Second Term

The governors under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party have urge President Muhammadu Buhari to contest for a second term in the upcoming 2019 presidential election in Nigeria. They hail the president’s integrity and performance saying he had their unwavering support. However, the governors gave separate interviews before the commencement of the National Executive Committee meeting held in Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

They governors called on Buhari to seek for re-election for a second term in office in the upcoming 2019 presidential election that will take place in Nigeria. According to them, they is no candidate better than Buhari to fly the party flag in the 2019 presidential election.

According to them, Buhari performance since 2015 he took the oath of office till date remains unbeatable. However, in a separate interview, the governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong stated that all the governors have unanimously agreed to work for the President’s re-election.

Also the governor of zamfara state and the chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum (NFG), Abdulaziz Yari, has declared that some of the detractors of the part were harbouring the belief that the party would be torn into shreds.

My question is: Have Buhari done anything in Nigeria to merit re-election in 2019?
