Sure, some have gotten away with it and some have served terms, but they all had to face the music at some point. The deaths caused by these Nigerian 5 celebrities on this list are the result of everything from tragic accidents to alleged murders.

1. Burna Boy
According to reports from reliable source, Nigerian music star Burna Boy was arrested and sent to jail by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was released after 11 months of imprisonment and was given two months community service on the grounds of being of ‘good conduct’. Burna Boy allegedly disobeyed UK authorities and traveled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat. He later tried to head back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and extradited to Nigeria. He is as of now, banished from the UK for the next 15 years.
2. Ibinabo Fiberesima
On the 26th of February 2006, Nollywood actress and former Actors Guild of Nigeria National president Ibinabo Fiberesima was driving along the popular Lekki-Epe expressway when she lost control of the wheel, veered into the inbound lane and crashed her car into a certain Suraj Giwa’s car, which resulted in his death. Ibinabo Fiberesima was convicted and sentenced to five years in jail by Justice Deborah Oluwayemi of a Lagos State High court in 2009. However, the actress was later granted a N2million bail following an appeal filed by her lawyer, Nnaemeka Amaechi. While a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, with Ibinabo Fiberesima having been found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to five years imprisonment, which she appealed now to the level of the Supreme Court, it has been alleged that that the actress newly found political aspiration was questionable. Especially, as she allegedly turned down the demand for an apology by the family of the deceased.
3. Rich Oganiru
The name Rich Oganiru might not ring a bell, but he is one of the finest Nollywood actors in the good old days of Nollywood. According to reports from credible source in 2012, Rich Oganiru allegedly killed his wife by poisoning her in a quest to acquire her property. The wife was said to have been hospitalized for three months for an undisclosed ailment in an Abuja hospital with the Nollywood actor abandoning her until the last day she was to be discharged, before Rich Oganiru came to the hospital to take her home. On getting home, she died that same day. Police sources however told Saturday Vanguard that though investigation into the death and alleged murder of the wife was still ongoing, Mr. Rich Oganiru has been granted bail. The allegation was that Rich Oganiru murdered his wife through poison. Though our investigation showed he did not treat her like a wife deserves to be treated and there was nothing to show that she died or was killed by poison. The report alleged that the woman was not his first wife, as the first wife also died years back and that Rich Oganiru was in a very poor state of life before he met the Abuja based multi-millionaire who transformed his life in a matter of months.
4. Rabil Ismail
Rabil Ismail was a Nollywood actress from the northern part of Nigeria. She was praised and reckoned by many to do great things until things went sour for the Hausa actress. In 2005, Rabil Ismail faced a 7-man panel of Justices at the Supreme Court over the death of her boyfriend Auwalu Ibrahim. Following a detailed investigation that was conducted into the matter by various security agencies in the state, the court found her guilty of drugging and drowning her boyfriend Auwalu Ibrahim in, after she had lured him to a picnic at Tiga Dam, where she poisoned him with chocolate and pushed him into the dam with the hope of acquiring his properties. Rabil Ismail was sentenced to death to by hanging.
5. Tayo Odueke
Tayo Odueke is a popular Yoruba actress. She is popularly called Sikiratu Sidondo, a name she got from the wayward way of lifestyle she played in the movie Sikiratu Sidondo. Years back, she killed a year and a four months old boy known as Daramola. The episode which occurred at Muri Busari Close, Oloti Village off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos was dragged to the State Traffic Division B. Operations Department where the actress cum movie producer was apprehended. Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sidondo was accused of manslaughter for crushing over Daramola. According to reports from reliable source, Tayo Odueke went to see a friend named Tope Doherty who just returned from London. The two jolly friends, we were told, entered the red Honda CR-V LND brought by Sikiratu Sidondo to cruise out, only for some passersby to call their attention to a lifeless body of a 16 month-old allegedly said to have been crushed by her while trying to reverse her car.
