50 Kidnappers Terrorizing The Kaduna-Abuja Expressway Have Finally Being Arrested

The notorious criminals who kidnapped the Chairman of UBEC, Dr Mahmoud Abubakar have been arrested by the police. It was reported that the kidnappers kidnapped Dr Mahmoud Abubakar and his daughter and killed Dr Mahmoud Abubakar driver who tried to resist the attack. The gang was led by one Abubakar Ahmadu notoriously known as Dabo and 4 others.

The criminals were all arrested along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. They were arrested by the police and over 30 more kidnappers, armed robbers and gun manufacturers were arrested too by the Abuja police command.

Weapons recovered from the criminals were paraded in Abuja before the press by the Police. The Inspector General of Police while looking at the situation stated that the criminals will be charge to court and be prosecuted according to the rule of law.

The high rate of crime in the country has become an issue and the IGP has promised that the police will do everything in its capacity to reduce the rate of crime in the country, arrest and prosecute criminals who are terrorizing innocent Nigerians.

Items recovered from the criminals include riffles, military uniform, bullets, and magazines, amongst others. Among the criminals arrested include a female and several male.
