In this article I will be sharing with you 6 Nollywood celebrities whose parents influence their acting career. Growing up with a celebrity as your parent could mean an automatic tutoring on how to act and carry yourself as a famous person, and most times these set of people usually get the needed support from their parents to start a career in the entertainment industry.

These celebrities were 100 percent supported by their parents to start a career in the entertainment industry. These celebrities were coached and tutored by their parents secretly to become great entertainers in Nigeria.

1. Regina Daniels

Regina Daniels is a Nollywood actress and the daughter of Nollywood actress and producer Rita Daniels. Regina Daniels and her mom Rita Daniels have appeared together in several movies like mother and daughter. It was her mom that brought her into Nollywood. When Regina Daniels newly started acting her mom Rita Daniels acted as her brand manager owning to the facts that she was still a teenager and not yet mature enough to handle prices and some male admirers. They both hails from Ogwashi-Ukwu in Delta State, Nigeria.

2. Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie is a Nollywood actor, and the son of Nollywood legend Pete Edochie. Asides the resemblance between father and son, Yul Edochie also speaks exactly like his father thus no one can deny the fact that he is the true son of Pete Edochie. Yul Edochie is also a movie director and an active voice on the political scene. In 2017, he contested for Governor of Anambra State and lost it to his opponent Willie Obiano. His father contributed 100 percent to his acting career.

3. Chinenye Nnebe

Chinenye Nnebe is a Nollywood actress while her mom Uche Nancy is a Nollywood movie producer and costumier. It was her mother that brought her into Nollywood when she was still a child. Her Mom started as a costumier before moving into film producing. Chinenye Nnebe feature mostly in her mother’s movie. She alongside with her sisters where singlehandedly raise by their mother Uche Nancy.

4. Femi Adebayo

Femi Adebayo is a Nollywood actor while his father Adebayo Salami is also a Nollywood actor and producer. There have appeared together on the same movie set. His father Adebayo Salami also known as Oga Bello is a veteran actor in Yoruba Nollywood with several iconic movies to his name. He produced his first movie “Ogun Ajaye” in 1985 and that was the movie that launched his son’s career in Nollywood.

5. Priscilla Ojo

Priscilla Ajoke Ojo born 13th March, 2001 is the beautiful daughter of popular Yoruba actress and producer Iyabo Ojo. Priscilla is also an actress, entrepreneur and model. She started her acting career at a very tender age and has also featured in some of her mum’s movie. Her mom Iyabo Ojo brought her into Nollywood when she was still a child and since then she has grown as an amazing actress Priscilla was 14 when she was nominated for BON Award for Best Child Actress. The nomination was for her role in the movie titled “Beyond Disability”.

6. Bidemi Kosoko

Bidemi Kosoko is a talented Nollywood actress and she was born on 21st December 1988. She is the daughter to Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko. Bidemi Kosoko developed an interest in movies right from when she was a little girl. Her father’s personality influenced her in to acting and she was widely accepted with her amazing role in movies. According to her father, Bidemi Kosoko usually follows him to auditions to see how they were acting. She is also married with a kid.
