In this article I will be sharing with you 6 Nollywood child actors that are now grownup. They started their acting career as child actors but today they are all grown up, looking beautiful and handsome. The Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) has produced a lot of famous celebrities that grace our screens today, it is also amazing to know that some of these celebrities started out as child actors.

1. Williams Uchemba

Williams Uchemba is a Nollywood actor, movie producer, model, comedian, philanthropist, entrepreneur and a television personality. He is currently the United Nation Ambassador and African Youth Representative to the United Nation. He was born and bred in Abia State. He is very handsome and talented. Williams Uchemba is a graduate of International Relation from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2000 as a child actor and rose to fame in 2001 after featuring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “The Journey of the Dead” a movie he acted alongside with Pete Edochie, Olu Jacobs and Ramsey Noah. The movie “The Journey of the Dead” brought him to limelight and made him a public figure.

2. Regina Daniels

Regina Daniels is a Nollywood actress, model, producer, television personality and a philanthropist. She was born on 13th May 2000 in Asaba, Delta State. She is currently 22 years old. She joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2007 at the age of 7 years old. In 2010, she rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Miracle Child” a tragic movie which she acted alongside with Chinwe Owoh. She is a graduate of Mass Communication from Igbinedion University Okada in Edo State. She is currently married to Prince Ned Nwoko. Regina Daniels top the list of richest actresses in Nigeria. She is regarded as one of the most controversial actress in Nigeria.

3. Somadina Adinma

Somadina Adinma is a Nollywood actor, television presenter, model and a television personality. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented. He is originally from Nnewi in Anambra state, but was born and bred in Lagos. He is a graduate of Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He was born and bred in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education. Somadina Adinma is originally from Neni, a small town in Nnewi Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2003 at the age of 3 years old and acted as a child actor in the 2003 blockbuster movie Egg of Life.

4. Chinenye Nnebe

Chinenye Nnebe is a Nollywood actress, model, and a television personality. She started her acting career as a Nollywood kid actress in 2003. She is the daughter to Nollywood costumier and movie producer Uche Nancy. She was born on 5th April 1997 in Asaba, Delta State. She is currently 25 years old. She is the last child in the family. Information of her father is unknown, she alongside with her siblings were single handedly raised by their mother. In 2003, Chinenye Nnebe was introduced into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) by her mother Uche Nancy as a child actress. She has featured in over 70 Nollywood movies.

5. Chukwudi Okoro

Chukwudi Okoro popularly known as Ikenta started his career as a Nollywood kid actor, but today he has grown into a handsome young man. He is an actor, a movie producer and a television personality. Chukwudi Okoro is popularly known for playing the role of a spoilt brat who is fond of intimidating people. He is known for playing the role of a troublemaker in several Nollywood movies. He always features in epic, comedy and tragic movies. He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1999 as a kid actor and starred in his first movie Onye Eze which he acted alongside with Nkem Owoh (Osuofia). He is a graduate of Political Science from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

6. Samuel Ajibola

Samuel Ajibola is a Nollywood actor known as ‘Spiff’ by his admirers because of his amazing performance in the Nigerian television drama ‘The Johnsons.’ Samuel Ajibola started his career as a Nollywood kid actor. He is a Nigerian actor, model, events planner, comedian, entrepreneur and a television personality. Samuel Ajibola began his acting career in 1995 at the age of 6 years old in the Opa Williams directed movie, Tears for Love. He is also famous for being the first Nigerian child actor to win the award for Best Child Actor for three years in a row. On 4th March, 2017 he won the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actor in an M-net comedy series The Johnsons. He was born in Mazamaza, Lagos. He is the first child in a family of four children. He hails from Ekiti State.
