Her mother is a teacher while her father is both a businessman and a civil servant. Uche Elendu completed both her primary and secondary school education in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. While still in secondary school she was actively involved in drama, stage play and performing arts.
