Aaron Charles Carter is a famous American singer, songwriting, actor, dancer and a recording artiste. He first came to prominence as a pop and hip hop singer in the late 1990s, establishing himself as a star among pre-teen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st century with his four studio albums.
He was born on 7th December 1987 at the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida in the United States of America. He is currently 30 years old. His mother’s name is Jane Elizabeth Carter and his father’s name is Robert Gene Carter, they both ran the Garden Villa Retirement Home. Aaron Carter is originally from New York City in the United States of America, where his older brother Nick, of the boy band Backstreet Boys was born.
In addition to his brother Nick, Aaron Carter also has a twin sister named Angel, who is currently a model. Apart from his twin sister, he also has two elderly sisters namely B.J. and Leslie. Aaron Carter is named after his paternal grandfather, Aaron Charles Carter and his maternal grandfather, Douglas Charles Spaulding.
Aaron Carter attended the Frank D. Miles Elementary School and the Ruskin School in Florida, United States of America. Aaron Carter began performing at age of 7 years old and released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at age of 10 years old, selling over million copies worldwide.
His second album “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” which was released in 2000 sold over three million copies in the United States of America and Aaron Carter began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon and touring with the Backstreet Boys shortly after the record’s release.
Aaron Carter’s next album “Oh Aaron” also went platinum and in 2002, he released what would be his last studio album for 16 years. After which he released another studio album titled “Another Earthquake” followed by another studio album titled “Most Requested Hits” collection which he released in 2003. Aaron Carter has since appeared on Dancing with the Stars, the Broadway musical Seussical, the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks and made several one-off performances.
In 2014, Aaron Carter announced that he would begin releasing his new music titled “Ooh Wee” which he featured rapper Pat Solo. The song later became available as a free download with purchase on his web store. On 10th February 2017, Aaron Carter released a single titled “Fool’s Gold” and an EP titled “Love”. On 16th February 2018, his fifth studio album of the same name “Love” was released.
On 21st February 2008, Aaron Carter was arrested in Kimble County, Texas in the United States of America when he was pulled over for speeding and authorities found less than two ounces of marijuana in his car.
On 22nd November 2013, Aaron Carter filed a bankruptcy petition to shed more than $3.5 million in debt, mostly taxes owed from the money made at the height of his popularity. The petition states that Aaron Carter’s biggest creditor is the United States Government; he owes the Internal Revenue Service of $1.3 million in back taxes from his income in 2003, when Aaron Carter was just 16 years old. However, Aaron Carter has settled all of his tax debt in 2014.
On 15th July 2017, Aaron Carter was arrested in Georgia on suspicion of driving under the influence marijuana and was charged according to law enforcement. Later in July 2017, Aaron Carter discussed his health issues, namely a hiata hernoa and lactose intolerance. He also admitted to the use of Voluma facial fillers.
On 5th August 2017, Aaron Carter came out as bisexual via Twitter. However, in 2018, he retracted his statement of bisexuality, calling it “misconstrued” and saying “I see myself being with a woman and having kids. I want to have a family”.
In September 2017, Aaron Cater appeared on The Doctors, a syndicated health-focused talk show, to discuss public attention generated by his gaunt appearance and drug-related arrests.
A thorough series of tests and examinations revealed Aaron Carter was not suffering from cancer or any sexually transmitted disease, but he did have a Candida infection which can be a sign of a weakened immune system.
Aaron Carter tested negative for illegal drugs, but tested positive for a mixture of benzodiazepines with opiates, a potentially dangerous combination of prescription medications that Carter said he took for anxiety and sleep. He was malnourished and underweight at 115 pounds (52 kg), with a body mass index of 17 (a BMI of 18.5 to 25 is normal range).
Aaron Carter was advised to enter a drug rehabilitation program and remain under medical care. Subsequently, Aaron Carter admitted himself to Alo House, a treatment center in Malibu California in the United States of America. Aaron Carter is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented artistes in the United States of America.
In February 2018, Aaron Carter reported improvement in his condition including therapy for coping with the May 2017 death of his father and a later breakup with a longtime girlfriend whom he loves so much. He also stated that his weight was a healthier 160 pounds (75.5 kg).
Aaron Carter is currently one of the richest and most influential artist in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $2 million.
