Alexander Chuka Iwobi popularly known as Alex Iwobi is a famous Nigerian professional football player, entrepreneur and a philanthropist, who currently plays as a winger and forward striker for English Premier League club Arsenal and the Nigeria national team Super Eagles. He is currently one of the best players in Nigeria and also one of the most successful footballers in Africa.

He was born on 3^rd May 1996 in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 22 years old. Alex Iwobi is currently the nephew of former Nigerian intentional and professional footballer Jay-Jay Okocha. He was born in Lagos State, Nigeria before moving to England at the age of 4 years old. He is the best friend to Tyrell Robinson, a former Arsenal teammate.

Alex Iwobi joined Arsenal while still at primary school and was first involved in a first-team match as an unused substitute in a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion on 25^th September 2013. In October 2015, he signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal.

Alex Iwobi made his first-team debut for the club on 27^th October 2015, starting in a 3–0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Round of 16 of the League Cup. In 2011, Alex Iwobi started as a youth international for England, with whom he won the 2011 Victory Shield. After which Alex Iwobi went on to play for Nigeria. On 8^th October 2015, Alex Iwobi made his senior debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, replacing Ahmed Musa in the 57th minute of a 2–0 friendly defeat to DR Congo in Vise, Belgium. In 2016, he was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, he was not a part of the 18-man final squad.
