Biafra Angry Vipers Threatens South-East Governors Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Detention

A heavily armed group which identified itself as ‘Angry Vipers’ has threatened to attack south east governors, senators and other political leaders from the south-east if the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not released within 21 days. In a video currently trending on social media, the group also issued threats to socialite and Anambra-born businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.

The gunmen, who wore masks to conceal their identities, were at a riverbank and well-armed with guns and ammunitions. They accused Obi Cubana, who was recently arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and detained for over 48 hours, of having a relationship with Fulani people that are causing problems in the South-East. They accused him because of his relationship with Police detective Abba Kyari.

Meanwhile, the Police Service Commission had suspended Abba Kyari from office as a Deputy Commissioner of Police and head of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team due to his connection with Hushpuppi.

Abba Kyari had been indicted by the FBI in a $1.1 million Internet scam allegedly carried out by a self-confessed internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi and four others. The gunmen said Obi Cubana and his crew allowed Abba Kyari to return to Anambra State.

Recall that Abba Kyari attended the lavished burial Obi Cubana organized for his late mother in Oba, Anambra State. One of the members of the armed group said; “Attention, today being 10th of November, 2021, we the Angry Vipers of Biafra land have noticed that the governors, senators, local government chairmen, House of Representatives and all political Officeholders in south eastern region have concluded to play pranks with the lives and well being of all youths in the south eastern region.

“You kings and chiefs in our land have decided to reduce yourself to less than a used sanitary pad. You are now being tossed about by uncircumcised Fulanis due to your idiotic and bribery nature. We the angry vipers are giving you 21 days to leave our land unless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released.”

“For Obi Cubana and Co, who are closely working with the killers of our youths, you and your crew made sure that Fulani man Abba Kyari returned to Anambra State. You will hear from us soon.

“From now onwards, we will put a stop to any form of tax and revenue in market and road transport such as bikes, vehicles and Sundry within Biafran land. Henceforth, it shall be bloody. All hell shall be let loose,” the heavily armed group stated.
