Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter popularly known by her stage name as Beyoncé is an American famous singer, songwriter, recording artiste, stage performer, actress, model, investor, entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She was born on 4^th September 1981 in Houston, Texas in the United States of America. She is currently 36 years old. 

Her Father, Mathew Knowles was a Xerox Sales Manager while her mother, Tina Knowles was a hairdresser and a salon owner. Beyoncé attended St. Mary’s Montessori School in Houston, Texas in the United States of America, where she enrolled in dance classes. Darlette Johnson, a dance instructor, discovered Beyoncé singing talent and melancholic voice when he auditioned her. Beyoncé’s interest in music and performing art continued after winning a school talent hunt show at the age of 7 years old. After completing her Montessori School, in 1990, Beyoncé enrolled in Parker Elementary School, a music magnet school in Houston, Texas in the United States of America and perform with the school choir.

After completing her Elementary School, Beyoncé attended High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and later Alief Elsik High School in Houston, Texas in the United States of America. Beyoncé was also a member of the choir at St. John’s United Methodist Church as a soloist for two years. Beyoncé was just 8 years old when she and her childhood friend Kelly Rowland met with Latavia Robertson while in an audition for an all-girl entertainment group.

In 1995, Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles resigned from his Xerox Sales job to manage the group and finally became Beyoncé brand Manager. On 5^th October 1995, Dwayne Wiggins’s Grass Roots Entertainment signed the group in their record label. In 1996, the group began recording their debut studio album under Sony Music and shortly later got signed by Columbia Records.

In 1996, the group changed their name to “Destiny’s Child” and in 1997, the group released their major debut studio album with hit single “Killing Time”. In early 2001, while Destiny’s Child was completing their third debut studio album, Beyoncé landed a major role in an MTV television film.

In July 2002, Beyoncé continued her acting career playing the role of Foxxy Cleopatra alongside Mike Mylers in a comedy film. In 2003, Beyoncé released her personal debut studio album “Dangerously in Love” which established her as a solo artiste worldwide. The album earned her five Grammy Awards and featured her hit single “Crazy in Love” at the top of Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In 2006, Beyoncé quit Destiny’s Child and went solo. On 4^th April 2008, Beyoncé got married to Hip-hop rapper Jay Z.  On 24^th August 2014, Beyoncé received the Video Vanguard Award at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. On February 2015, Beyoncé was nominated for six Grammy awards; she was also nominated for Album of the Year.

In November 2013, Forbes magazine reported that Beyoncé was the highest earning female artiste in the world, earning over $115 million in the year of 2013. Beyoncé has won many Grammy awards which include awards for Best Video of the Year and Best R&B Artiste of the Year at MTV Video Music Awards. In December 2016, due to her philanthropist work, Beyoncé was named the Most Charitable Celebrity of the Year. Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z have been listed by Time magazine as the most powerful and hottest couple in the world.

Beyoncé is currently one of the richest and most influential artiste in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $350 million. When you join Jay Z wealth and Beyoncé wealth together as a couple, they have an estimated net worth of $1.16 billion.
