Kofi Adjorlolo is a famous Ghanaian actor, producer, director, television personality and a philanthropist. He was born on 14th June 1956 in Keta, Ghana to Mr. Johnny Adjorlolo and Madam Matilda Adjorlolo. He is currently 61 years old. He is originally from Keta in Ghana. Kofi Adjorlolo is the second child in a family of three children. He is known worldwide as the most popular movie star and actor in Ghana. He is known for the movie “The Will”
Kofi Adjorlolo attended AME Zion School in Keta, Ghana and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Kofi Adjorlolo proceeded to Keta Secondary School and completed his secondary school education at Ebenezer Secondary School in Keta, Ghana and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his secondary school education, Kofi Adjorlolo proceeded to the University of Ghana and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication. Kofi Adjorlolo has worked as a civil servant and a radio presenter in Accra, Ghana. He has also worked for the Ambassador to the Republic of Benin. Kofi Adjorlolo later became a professional musician playing with a number of professional bands including that of Nigeria’s popular musician Victor Uwaifo of Joromi fame.
In 2013, Kofi Adjorlolo joined the Ghana movie industry and acted in his first movie “The Will” a movie that brought him to limelight. After that he starred in “End of the Will” a movie that won him an award for Best Actor in Ghana at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. After gaining fame in Ghana, Kofi Adjorlolo was welcomed to the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) with open hand. He has acted in several Nollywood movies and still counting.
Kofi Adjorlolo has acted in more than 100 Ghallywood movies which include Mummy’s Daughter, My Mother’s Heart, Official Prostitutes, The Will, End of the Will, etc. He has acted alongside with Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Majid michel, Van Vickers, John Dumelo, Nadia Buari and a host of other Ghanaian celebrities.
Kofi Adjorlolo has also acted in more than 100 Nollywood movies which include My First Experience, Golden Adventure, Power of the Gods, etc. He has acted alongside with Ini Edo, Genevieve Nnaji, Patience Ozorkor, Ramsey Nouah, Emeka Ike, Olu Jacobs, Mercy Johnson, Tonto Dikeh, Regina Daniels, Ken Erics, Kenneth Okonkwo and a host of other Nollywood celebrities.
Kofi Adjorlolo in the cause of his acting career has won several awards which include Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Best Actor in Ghana at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Most Prominent Actor in Ghana at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards. Kofi Adjorlolo has married and divorced two different women, right now he is currently married to a young model Victoria who is in her late 20s.
He is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Ghana with an estimated net worth of $800,000.
