Francis Duru is a famous Nollywood actor, model, master of ceremony, comedian, television personality, director, investor, entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He was born on 27^th April 1978 in Cameroon. He is currently 39 years old. Francis Duru is originally from Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria but grew up in Cameroon.

Francis Duru completed both his primary and secondary school education in Cameroon and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. After completing his secondary school education, Francis Duru proceeded to University of Port Harcourt in River State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts in 1996.

After completing his university education, Francis Duru joined the Nigeria movie industry (Nollywood) in the year 1996 and started attending movie auditions and acting as a minor character in movies.
