Ken Erics Ugochukwu is a Nollywood Actor, an Investor and a Model. He was born on 28th February 1980 in the city of Kano, Kano State in the northern part of Nigeria. He is currently 38 years old. He is from Enugu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently the sixth child in the family.
Ken Erics had the passion for acting at a very tender age and started acting from his local church. He is a graduate of Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in Anambra in the south eastern part of Nigeria. While growing up Ken Erics has done many stage performance, drama and has acted in several Nollywood movies, where he played minor roles.
He is a member of many theatre and drama clubs while in school and was attending auditions right from his undergraduate days. He got his first professional movie role in 2000 in a movie titled “Holy Prostitute” while still in the university. He was rejected many times in audition and he had to go through hell just to get a movie roles.
Ken Erics had slept in motor parks, uncompleted building and under-bridge in Lagos just to get movies role. His passion for acting is amazing and he never gave up on his career even with all the rejections. Ken Erics is currently married to a beautiful lady.
His determination for success, his persistence and his prayers to God skyrocket him from a struggling actor to a mega superstar actor. He always act in sorrowful and romantic movie alongside with several Nollywood celebrities. He is currently one of the best romantic actors in Nigeria and a girls guy.
Aside from acting Ken Erics is also into other businesses such as real estate investment, show promoter and event planner. He was rumored to be dating Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo but he declined the rumor saying they are just friend. Ken Erics has starred in more than 150 Nollywood movies such as Evil Intention, Royal Sin, The Illiterate, Settle Me, Malaysian Money, etc.
Ken Erics in the cause of his career as an actor has won several which include Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and Most Prominent Actor in Nigeria at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
