Ramsey Nouah Tokunbo Jr. is a Nollywood Actor, Director & a Model. He was born on 19th December, 1970 in Lagos, Nigeria. His father is from Israel while his mother is from Yoruba land, Owo, Ondo State in the South Western part of Nigeria. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School, Lagos.
He is currently 46 years old. He obtained a diploma at the University of Lagos, after which he pursued a career in acting.
He kicked off his acting career when he starred in the Nigerian TV soap opera “Fortunes” at the age of 23, between 1993 to 1994.
Ramsey Nouah has acted in more than 100 Nollywood films. He is often called “Lover-Boi” for his roles in romantic film.
In 2002 he got married to Emelia Philips-Nouah and they are blessed with two sons and a daughter.
In 2009, he featured in a blockbuster movie “Figurine” he is often regarded as one of Africa’s greatest actor of all time.
In 2010 he won the Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
His burning desire to add creativity to the growth of Nollywood led to the establishment of his production house “Ramsey Films”
