Zachee Ama Orji popularly known as Zack Orji is a famous Nollywood actor, producer, director, filmmaker, entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He was born on 10^th October 1960 in Libreville, Gabon. He is currently 57 years old. Zack Orji grew up in Cameroon, Togo and Benin Republic all in West Africa.

He is originally from Nsukka, Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is the eldest child in a family of seven children comprising of five girls and two boys. Zack Orji completed both his primary and secondary school education in Gabon, Cameroon and Togo all in West Africa where he obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing his primary and secondary school education, Zack Orji returned to Nigeria and proceeded to University of Nigeria Nsukka in Enugu State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management.

He can speak English and French fluently. After completing his university education, Zack Orji joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1991 and acted in his first movie “Unforgiven Sin” a movie that brought him to limelight. He is referred to as the most gifted and most talented actor in Nigeria. He has also being described by many media organization and movie fans as Nollywood living legend.

Zack Orji has acted in more than 250 Nollywood movies which includes Unforgiven Sin, Half a Yellow Sun, Above Death, All My Life, Games Women Play, Women’s Cot, Zonal Leader, etc. He is very good in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any role given to him by a movie director. Zack Orji is also a pioneer of the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and contributed immensely for it growth and development.

Zack Orji is currently married to Ngozi Orji and the marriage is blessed with three beautiful children. One of his sons, Lionel Chukwuemeka Orji is a fast rising musician in Nigeria. Zack Orji is currently based in Lagos State, Nigeria with his family. Apart from movie acting, he is also involved in real estate business and entrepreneurship.
