Victor Osuagwu is a famous Nollywood comic actor, producer, master of ceremony, television personality and currently the chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Lagos State chapter. He was born into a well grounded Christian family in Mbaise, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is very handsome, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Victor Osuagwu is originally from Ezinifite, a small village in Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State in the south eastern Nigeria, but grew up in Surulere, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. Victor Osuagwu completed both his primary and secondary school education in Surulere, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.After completing his primary and secondary school education, Victor Osuagwu proceeded to University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State in the south southern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. In 1994, Victor Osuagwu joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and acted in his first movie “Evil Passion” a movie that brought him to limelight.

The movie “Evil Passion” became a blockbuster in Nigeria with massive acceptance globally due to his outstanding comic role in the movie which earned him a nomination for Best New Actor in Comedy at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. In 1997, Victor Osuagwu rose to prominence after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movies “Our Daily Bread” and “One Dollar”. The movies earned him an awards for Best Comic Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Victor Osuagwu has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies which include Keke Soldiers, Professional Beggars, My Classmate, Corporate Beggar, Evil Passion, One Dollar, Adam Goes to School, Hi Goat, Ofeke, My Only Love, Lion Finger, Our Daily Bread, etc. He is currently one of the most gifted, most creative, most skillful and most talented comic actor in Nigeria. He is very good in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Victor Osuagwu acts mostly in comedy movies alongside with John Okafor, late Sam Loco Efe, Chinwe Ntaluagu, Nkem Owoh, Charles Awurum, Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Francis Otega, Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme amongst others. In 1990, Victor Osuagwu met his precious wife Roseline Osuagwu when he was still in the university and Roseline was still in secondary school, Jss3 precisely and they both got married in 2014 after 16 years of dating and courtship. The traditional wedding took place at Roseline home town in Choba, Port-Harcourt, Rivers States in the south southern part of Nigeria. The marriage is currently blessed with four beautiful kids, comprising of two boys and two girls.

In January 2015, Victor Osuagwu received a chieftaincy title in his home town of Ezinifite, a small village in Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria by Udo Abia Eze Ukeje of Udo Kingdom in Ezinifite, a small village in Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State in the south eastern Nigeria.

Victor Osuagwu in the cause of his acting career has won several awards which include Best New Actor in Comedy at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Best Comic Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Most Prominent Actor in Nigeria at the Best of Nollywood Awards and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Golden Icon Movie Academy Awards. Victor Osuagwu is one of the pioneers of the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood in Nigeria and rest of the world.

Victor Osuagwu is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1.7 million.
