Boko Haram Killed 12 Persons In Giwa, Kaduna State & Set Houses Ablaze

Residents of Na’ikko village, Giwa local government Area of Kaduna state mourn as bandits identified to be Boko Haram terrorists attacked the community and killed about 12 people and set houses ablaze. According to our reliable source, we learnt that the terrorist invaded the village and shot sporadically at helpless residents.

The victims whose houses were set ablaze fled the community and are presently taking refuge at Barkallahu village within the Igabi Local Government Area of the state.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Residential Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, visited the displaced victims at their refugee camp in Barkallahu village, and commiserated with them over the killings.

He pleaded with them to permit security agents within the State to research the incident, and admonished them to shun any sort of reprisal attack. Aruwan assured the victims that the government would ensure it arrests the terrorist and their sponsors.
