Caroline Eferamor King popularly known as Carol King is a famous Nollywood actress, presenter and a television personality. She was born on 24^th July 1963 in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. She is currently 54 years old. She is very gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers.

Carol King is originally from Edo State in the south southern part of Nigeria, but was born and bred in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. Carol King attended St. Soweto Primary School in Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Carol King proceeded to Awori Anglican Comprehensive High School Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing her secondary school education, Carol King proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria and obtained a National Diploma (OND) in Insurance. After obtaining her National Diploma in Insurance, Carol King proceeded to University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Religious Studies.

In 1999, Carol King joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and auditioned for a radio drama titled “I Need To Know” before she went on to become a household name after her role in the popular television series “Everyday People” a television drama that brought her to limelight. She is best known for her role as “Jumoke” in the popular television series “Everyday People” and also popularly known for her motherly role in television drama and Nollywood movies.

Carol King has starred in several stage plays, dramas, television soap operas and Nollywood movies which include The Gods Are Still Not To Blame, Dazzling Mirage, I Need To Know, Everyday People, Tinsel, Edge of Paradise, Blaze of Glory, Eko Law, Emerald, Journey To Self, North East For Colored Girls, Journey To Self, For Colored Girls, Prison Chronicles, The Wives, etc. In recognition for her role in the advancement of the Nigerian film industry, Carol King was awarded with the “African Youth Role Model Award” in 2009.

Carol King is currently married to Captain Kolawole King and the marriage is currently blessed with three children after her failed first marriage. She is currently based in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria with her family.

Carol King in the cause of her acting career has won several awards which include Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the African Movie Academy Awards, Best Actress in Drama at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, African Youth Role Model Award at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Special Recognition Awards at the City Peoples Entertainment Awards and Most Prominent Actress in Nigeria at the Best of Nollywood Awards.

Carol King is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $400,000.
