Chidinma Ekile also known as Miss Kedike is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer, actress and a model. She was born on 2nd May 1991 in Ketu, Lagos in the south western part of Nigeria. She is currently 31 years old. She started singing at the age of 6 years old.

Chidinma is originally from Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria but grew up in Lagos where her parents reside till date. She completed both her primary and secondary school education in Lagos, Nigeria and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

Chidinma was among the 8,000 contestants all over Nigeria who went to showcase their talents in the MTN Project Fame West Africa, a reality television show and singing competition hosted by a multinational telecommunication network MTN every year.

In 2010, Chidinma rose to fame after winning the third season of the MTN Project Fame West Africa and was awarded with a brand new car, five million naira cash prize and a one year recording contract with MTN. Chidinma has worked as a business promoter in Lagos before auditioning for the third season of MTN Project Fame West Africa. She attended university of Lagos, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication.

Chidinma is currently a brand ambassador for MTN Nigeria. She is also the Brnad Ambassador of Maggi. She has a sweet voice that distinguishes her from other female artistes in Nigeria. In 2011, Chidinma released her first studio album with hit singles like Jankoliko, Carry You Go, Kedike and Run Dia Mouth.

In 2012, Chidinma won the award for Best Female West African Act at the 2012 Kora Awards held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In November 2013, a viral sex tape surfaced on the internet. Many people alleged that she was the one in the sex tape. But she debunked the rumors during an interview with the media.

In 2013, Chidinma released another hit single “Bless My Hustle” featuring Phyno, after which she released another hit single “Oh Baby” and “Olorufe” featuring Flavour. The hit single “Olorufe” created a lot of controversy in Nigeria due the romantic act between Chidinma and Flavour in the music video. That act made fans all over Nigeria to believe that the two celebrities are actually in a deep relationship. But during an interview, Chidinma denied the rumor saying they are just good friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Chidinma in the cause of her career as a musician has won several awards which include Best Female Act at the City People Entertainment Awards, Best Video at the Nigeria Music Video Awards, Best Female West African Act at the Kora Awards, Best R&B Artiste of the Year at the Headies Awards and Most Gifted Act at the MTV Awards.

Chidinma is now into gospel music. She said that she will use all her talent praising God who showed her the way when they were no way. She has feature songs with top gospel artistes in Nigeria she is making waving globally.
