Chika Ike is a famous Nollywood actress, model, film director, producer, television personality and a philanthropist. She has been regarded as one of the best industrious actresses in Nollywood and also one of the highest paid actresses in Nigeria. She is always known for featuring in romantic, sorrowful and action thriller movies. She has been in the industry for over a decade.

She always plays the role of an orphan, widow, royal princess, palace maid, president daughter, industrious working class lady, independent corporate young lady, romantic house wife, girlfriend and a self determined young lady in several Nollywood movies. Chika Ike is one of the talented actresses in Nigeria. She has been in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood for over decades. She is very beautiful, talented and industrious.

She was born on 8th November 1985 in Onitsha, Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 34 years. Chika Ike is currently the United Nations Ambassador and the CEO of Fancy Nancy Collections. She began her career as a model at the age of 16 years old before joining the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood professionally. She started acting at a very tender age. Chika Ike is originally from Onitsha, Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, where she completed both her primary and secondary school education and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. After completing her primary and secondary school education, Chika Ike got admitted to University of Lagos in 2004 to run a 2-years diploma program in Human Kinetics and Health Education.

As a kid Chika Ike dream was to become an actress. While growing up she admired several Hollywood and British actors and wanted to be like them. She began acting in her local church drama at a very tender age of 6 years old. Also, while still in secondary school she was actively involved in drama, stage play and performing arts. During an interview, she stated that her parents were in total support of her acting career. She also stated during an interview that her determination and persistent is the secret of her success in the entertainment industry.

In 2005, Chika Ike joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood professionally and acted in her first movie “Sweet Love” a movie which brought her to limelight and attracted her to movie directors and producers in Nigeria. That same year which is 2005, Chika Ike rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Bless the Child” a movie she acted alongside Nollywood veteran actor Olu Jacobs. Her role in the movie won her an award for Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2006, Chika Ike completed her National Diploma program in Human Kinetics and Health Education from the University of Lagos and went further to get a Degree in Human Kinetics and Health Education from the University of Lagos. Chika Ike has acted in more than 250 Nollywood movies. Some of the movies she has acted include Paradise, Mirror of Beauty, To Love a Stranger, Girls Cot Reloaded, Happy Ending, Bless the Child, Sweet Love, and many more.

In 2014, Chika Ike graduated from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America where she studied film making. After graduating from Film Academy in New York City in the United States of America, Chika Ike created and began hosting her reality television series known as “African Diva Reality TV Show”. After establishing her reality television series, Chika Ike went further to established her own film production company known as “Chika Ike Production” and produced her first cinema movie which received commercial success and regarded as best box office grossing movie.

In 2011, Chika Ike founded her fashion line known as “Fancy Nancy” and launched it in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria. Chika Ike’s collection known as “Fancy Nancy” has a reputation for developing stylish, comfortable and fabulous fashion outfit and accessories such as jewelry, bags and shoes. Chika Ike aside from acting, entrepreneurship and movie production is also a philanthropist and a humanitarian.

In 2012, she threw a children street party where she hosted over 3000 children on the street, she fed them and gave gifts to them. She has a charity foundation known as “Help the Child”. The non-governmental organization is aimed at helping less privilege children especially those on the street without anybody to accommodate them.
