Chinedu Ikedieze also known as Aki after his role in the 2003 comedy movie Aki Na Ukwa is a legendary Nollywood actor, producer, investor, entrepreneur, comedian and a television personality known for versatile role in movies. He is a baby dwarf because he looks younger than his real age and acts mostly as a kid in several Nollywood movies due to his small stature and physical appearance, but later on he started accepting the role of an adult.

He was born on 12th December 1977 in Bende, Abia State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 45 years old. He completed both his primary and secondary education in Aba, Abia State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. After which, he proceeded further to the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication.

Chinedu Ikedieze joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 2000 and rose to fame in 2003, after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster comic movie “Aki na Ukwa” a movie he starred alongside with Osita Iheme, where he played the role of Aki. The movie later won him the award for comic best actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2007, Chinedu Ikedieze received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Most Accomplished Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. He has often been described as one of the best actors of his generation and also one of Nigeria’s most famous comic actors and greatest actor of all time.

Chinedu Ikedieze aside from acting is also an entrepreneur and a serial investor. He has several real estate investments and other businesses under his name. He is currently a GLO ambassador, and currently playing the role of Efe in the television series “T he Johnsons”. His role in the movie The Billionaire earns   nn        him the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa magic Viewers Choice Awards.

In December 2011, Chinedu Ikedieze got married to Miss Nneoma Nwaijah, a Fashion Designer and in 2012 there had their first child. Their wedding ceremony was attended by several celebrities, public figures and important dignitaries from the Nigerian entertainment industry. Unfortunately, he is no longer with his wife because they have divorce and gone their separate ways.

In 2011, Chinedu Ikedieze received a national award by the Nigerian Federal Government as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR), which happens to be the highest award and honor given to a celebrity in Nigeria who has contributed immensely to the economic growth of the country through entertainment.

Chinedu Ikedieze has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies and still counting. Some of the movies he has acted include Aki na Ukwa, Tom and Jerry, Back From America, Nothing Spoil, Spanner, The Billionaires, The Johnsons, Atinga, Back From Holland, amongst others.
