Doris Simeon is a famous and multiple award winning Nollywood actress, television presenter, model, event manager, television personality and a philanthropist. She acts mostly in Yoruba and English speaking movies. She was born and raised in Ojota, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria.

She is very beautiful, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers. Doris Simeon completed both her primary and secondary school education in Ojota, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing her primary and secondary school education, Doris Simeon proceeded to PEFTI Film Institute in Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos State, Nigeria and graduated with a Diploma in Production Management.

In 2001, Doris Simeon joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and featured in her first Yoruba movie titled “Oloju Ede” a movie that brought her to limelight and earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Doris Simeon officially started out her acting career in Yoruba speaking movies before moving to English speaking movies. She began her career as an actress by participating in part three episodes of the Papa Ajasco comedy series “Papa Ajasco and Company” by Wale Adenuga Production which ran on WAP TV and later moved to Nollywood and started featuring in Nollywood movies which include Oloju Ede, Alakada, Ten Million Naira and Modupe Temi.

In 2010, Doris Simeon starred as Da Grin’s girlfriend in the Nollywood movie titled “Ghetto Dreamz” and later co-produced the Yoruba movie title “Omo Iya kan” which was a success. She is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented actresses in Nigeria.

Doris Simeon has acted in more than 100 movies which include Eti Keta, Oloju Ede, Alakada, Ten Million Naira, Abani Kedun, Iseju Marun, Omo Iya Kan, Ghetto Dreams, Silence, Gucci Girls, Alakada, Omo Pupa, Asiri, Modupe Temi, etc. She acts mostly in Yoruba and English speaking movies.

Apart from acting Doris Simeon is also a television host, television presenter, event planner and a master of ceremony. In 2008, she won the award for Best Indigenous Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in Onitemi.

In 2010, she won the awards for Best Actress Indigenous at the Zafaa Awards for her role in Asiri. After which she won the Award for Excellence by Okpella Movement in the United State of America (USA). After which she also won the Award for Best Indigenous Actress by Afemiah Development Group. In 2008, she was awarded as a Role Model in Movies by All Youths Tush Awards.

Doris Simeon was married to a movie producer and director Daniel Ademinokan, whom she met on a movie set. The marriage is currently blessed with one son named David. Unfortunately, on May 2013, Doris Simeon and her husband Daniel Ademinokan got divorced and went their separates ways.

Doris Simeon in the cause of her acting career has won several awards which include Best Actress Indigenous at the Zafaa Awards, Best Indigenous Actress at the Afemiah Development Group Awards, Role Model in Movies at the All Youths Tush Awards, Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Supporting Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Doris Simeon is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $500,000.
