Emeka Amakeze is a famous Nollywood actor, scriptwriter, producer and a television personality. He was born on 18th June in Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles.
He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria. Emeka Amakeze is originally from Nimo, a small town in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria.
Emeka Amakeze attended High Court Primary School in Okigwe, a small town in Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Emeka Amakeze proceeded to Queens Apostle Secondary School in Okigwe, a small town in Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his primary and secondary school education, Emeka Amakeze proceeded to Nnamdi Azikwe University in Awka, Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic. While at Nnamdi Azikwe University in Awka, Emeka Amakeze upright nature earned him the post of the Student Union President.
In early 2000s, Emeka Amakeze joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and rose to fame in 2004 after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Royal Package” a movie that brought him to limelight and gave him a lot of advantage in Nollywood.
Emeka Amakeze has acted in more than 150 Nollywood movies which include Royal Package, Extreme Measure, Royal King, Missing Child, Maidens, Bride War, Caroline Shoes, Thrones, Ikuku Uguru etc. He acts mostly in romantic, epic and comedy movies alongside with several top Nollywood celebrities. Emeka Amakeze aside from acting is also a movie producer and has produced several Nollywood movies.
Emeka Amakeze is happily married to Onyedika Amakeze and the marriage is currently blessed with beautiful kids. He was formerly Mr. NYSC in Ekiti State in the south western part of Nigeria during his one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Emeka Amakeze in the cause of his career as an actor has been nominated for few awards which include Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Most Prominent Actor in Nigeria at the Best of Nollywood Awards and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Emeka Amakeze is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $400,000.
