Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives over the ongoing anti-SARS protest. The meeting, which is holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was disclosed by Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.
In a tweet, Ahmad wrote: “President @MBuhari currently meeting with Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan and Speaker, @femigbaja on the ongoing #EndPoliceBrutality protests.”
Nigerians, over the past one week have been protesting against SARS unit of the Nigeria Police Force. The protest also touches on other anomalies under the current government.
