The Catholic Diocese of Enugu State has reacted to the statement made by the spiritual father of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Reverend Fr. Ejike Mbaka against the former Governor of Anambra State, and Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi. Fr Mbaka made a statement at his Adoration Ministry where he stated that Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State who happens to be the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party would never become the President of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election unless God doesn’t exist.
According to the controversial priest, it is better for an old man to rule this country than a stingy young man to take over this administration. While reacting to his statement, the Catholic Authority in Enugu state has disowned father Mbaka saying that his utterances on the presidential flag bearer of the labour party violate the Catholic Church law.
