Femi Adebayo is a famous Nollywood actor, lawyer, film director, producer, politician and the special adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism. He is the son of the Nollywood veteran actor, Adebayo Salami. He is popularly known for acting in Yoruba movies. He is very handsome, gifted, creative and talented. He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit in any character given to him by movies directors and producers in Nigeria.
Femi Adebayo was born on 31st December 1972 in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 45 years old. He is originally from Ilorin, Kwara State in the south western part of Nigeria but was born and bred in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his primary and secondary school education, Femi Adebayo proceeded to University of Ilorin in Kwara State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Art. He is also currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Law at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in the south western part of Nigeria, where he combines both his acting career and studies together.
Femi Adebayo began his acting career in 1995, and that same year he featured in a Tade Ogidan movie titled “Owo Blow”. He has starred in several Nollywood movies and has won four awards which include Best Yoruba actor of the Year at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood Awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London, United Kingdom. Aside from that, he has also won Best Yoruba actor of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards in 2012.

Femi Adebayo has acted in several English and Yoruba speaking movies which include Survival of Jelili, Death Island, Diamonds in the Sky, Etiko Onigedu, October 1, Ayitale, Ladies Gang, Atónà, Omo pupa, Owo blow, Tania, Iya Alalake, Anini, Omo Ekun, Alagbaa, Onise Iku, Omo University, Ounje Ale, Sonto Alapata, Wura Ati Fadaka, Ma Wobadan and Buga, amongst others.
Femi Adebayo is currently the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of J-15 Media Network Nigeria. He is also the Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism. He was married to Khadijat Adebayo, his first wife whom he later divorced.
After his divorce with Khadijat Adebayo, he got married again to Omotayo Adebayo, after staying out of marriage for 8 years. Femi Adebayo and Omotayo Adebayo got married on 9th October 2016. His first marriage with Khadijat Adebayo, which later ended up in a divorce is blessed with 3 lovely kids.
Femi Adebayo in the cause of his acting career has won several awards which include Best Actor of the Year (Yoruba) at the City People Movie Awards, Best Yoruba actor of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards, Best Movie Producer of the Year (Yoruba) at the City People Entertainment Awards and Best Yoruba actor of the Year at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood Awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London, United Kingdom.
