Femi Babafemi Branch popularly known as Femi Branch is a famous Nollywood actor, director, producer, poet, playwright and a television personality. He was born on 14^th May 1970 to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Osunkoya in Sagamu, Ogun State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 47 years old. His parents are both Teachers in Sagamu, a small town in Ogun State in the south western part of Nigeria.

Femi Branch is originally from Odosenbora, a small village in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is very creative, skillful, gifted and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers.

Femi Branch attended Satellite Town Primary School in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Femi Branch proceeded to Air Force Secondary School in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing his secondary school education, Femi Branch proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Arts.

Femi Branch began his acting career at Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991. That same year he featured in a Yoruba stage play titled Eniyan. He later featured in a movie titled Orisun which means “Origin”. The movie was produced by members of staff of Obafemi Awolowo University but his first appearance on television was in 2003 in an MTN Group television commercial titled “Dance With Me”.

After his graduation from the university, Femi Branch joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and rose to fame after playing the role of “Oscar” in the popular television soap opera “Domino”. He has since starred in over 100 Nigerian movies, a few of which he produced and directed by himself.

Femi Branch has acted in more than 100 television soap opera and Nollywood movies which include Triangle, Senseless, Orirun, Away from Home, Twisted, The Italian Job, Akandun, A Place in the Stars, Fallen Angel, One Good Man, Out of Luck, Domino, Behind the Siege, Blaze of Glory, Emerald, This Life, Needles Eye, Wives and Concubines, Desperate Housewives Africa, etc. He acts both in English and Yoruba speaking movies.

Femi Branch in the cause of his acting career has received several awards which include City People Movie Special Recognition Awards, Ambassador of Obafemi Awolowo University Awards, Actor of the Year Award at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ogun State, Special Recognition Awards at University of Ilorin and African Youth Council Special Recognition Awards. Femi Branch is currently married to Ibitola Owosanoye and the marriage is currently blessed with two beautiful kids namely Nuella Branch and Nathan Branch.

Femi Branch is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $400,000.
