Gbenga Akinnagbe is a famous Hollywood actor, producer and a television personality. He was born on 12^th December 1978 in Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America. He is currently 39 years old. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors.

Akinnagbe was born in Washington, D.C in the United States of America to Nigerian parents. He was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States of America. He is the second child in a family of six children, comprising of five boys and one girl.

He attended Colonel Zadok A. Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland, United State of America and obtained his High School Certificate. After which he proceeded to Bucknell University in the United State of America on a wrestling scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English.

Gbenga Akinnagbe is an actor and producer who started his professional acting career in 2002. Gbenga Akinnagbe became a public figure after playing the role of Chris Partlow in the HBO series “The Wire” which was shot in 2003 and premiered on television in 2004.

He is popularly known for his role in the blockbuster movie “The Savages” which was shot in 2007. In 2009, he starred in the movie “The Taking of Pelham 123”. In 2010, he starred in the movie “Edge of Darkness”. After which he played the role of Ben Ellis in the popular television series “Contenders”.

In the summer of 2006, Gbenga Akinnagbe performed the role of “Zim” in the NYC Fringe Festival’s “Outstanding Play” an award-winning production of Modern Missionary. In 2007, Gbenga Akinnagbe appeared in the film “The Savages” with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Laura Linney and Philip Bosco. He also appeared in the remake of “The Taking of Pelham 123” which was released by Sony in June 2009.

He is currently playing the role of a drug lord in the Hollywood movie series “Graceland”. Gbenga Akinnagbe has had two articles published in The New York Times, with one detailing a trip to Nepal to climb the Himalayas, and the other outlining the medical procedures he underwent to correct his severely flat feet.

Gbenga Akinnagbe is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $20 million.
