Gregory Ojefua is a fast rising Nollywood actor, events manager, voice over artiste, television personality and a model. He was born and bred in Edo State in the south southern part of Nigeria. He is very handsome, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
Gregory Ojefua is originally from Igueben local government area of Edo State in the south southern part of Nigeria. He completed both his primary and secondary school education in Edo State in the south southern part of Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate
After completing his primary and secondary school education, Gregory Ojefua proceeded to Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State in the south western part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration.
Gregory Ojefua started acting at a very tender age. He has been fascinated by the make believe world since he was a child, he said he used to enjoy class plays and drama presentations so much that while in primary 3, he could recite 2-3 paragraphs of Julius Ceasar, Macbeth and other Shakespeare Classics.
When he got into the university the hunger of acting resurfaced again and after he did his first television series he knew that this is where he belonged. In 2009, he took part in the TV Show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics”. After that he attended an audition and got casted for his first role on a television series titled “Winds of Change” directed by Kalu Anya and produced by Lilian Okoro.
Since then he has featured in several television series and Nollywood movies which include Tinsel, One House, Secret Lives of Yahoo Boys, Lasgidi Cops, Lekki Wives , Heartbreakers, The Antique, Clinic Matters, Nectar, Unayi Police Station, Tomorrow is Now, The Draftsman, Up Creek without a Paddle, 30 Days in Atlanta, Daylight News, City of Orphans, Cruel Intentions, The Stepbrothers, Shuga, etc.
In 2017, Gregory Ojefua was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama (Movie/Series) at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his amazing performance and depiction of the Late General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in the popular short film “The Encounter”.
As a model he has also featured in a number of commercials both on television, print and press such like MTN legal apps advert, Nigerite 3X cement advert, Oleum oil advert, etc. He believes he stands out because of his uniqueness, deep voice, extra large physique, easy going nature and playful spirit.
Gregory Ojefua during an interview with the media stated that he always strive for perfection. He is patient, focused, versatile and success driven. He is very cheerful, adventurous, and inquisitive to surmount boundaries yet explored, much unbiased and open minded when tackling issues.
Gregory Ojefua in the cause of his acting career has won several awards which include Best New Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Movie Awards, Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Most Promising Act to Watch at the City People Entertainment Awards and Best Actor in a Drama (Movie/Series) at the the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Gregory Ojefua is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $400,000.
