Harry B Anyanwu is a popular Nollywood actor and a television personality. He is known for playing the role of chief in movies. He was born on 8th October 1959 in Emene, Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 58 years old. He is happily married with 5 lovely children.
Harry B Anyanwu is a multi-talented entertainer in the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood). He is very gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
Harry B Anyanwu completed his primary school education in Emene, Enugu State, Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Harry B Anyanwu proceeded to St. Patrick Secondary School in Emene, Enugu State, Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his secondary school education in Enugu, Harry B Anyanwu left Nigeria in 1985 and relocated to the United States of America for his tertiary education. While in the United States of America, he ventured into music before returning back to Nigeria in 2004 to pursue a career in acting. After returning to Nigeria in 2004, Harry B Anyanwu joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and started featuring in Nollywood movies.
Unfortunately, in 2010 and 2015 respectively, Harry B Anyanwu had an accident that nearly took his life but to the grace of God he survived the accident and that didn’t stop him from his passion for acting. On August 2011, Harry B Anyanwu became a public figure after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie titled “Keke Millionaire” a movie that brought him to limelight.
In 1997, Harry B Anyanwu got married to his beautiful wife and the marriage is blessed with 5 beautiful children. Apart from acting, Harry B Anyanwu is also a professional musician. As a musician, he has done collaborations with popular Nigerian music artist such as Nigga Raw and Flavour, where he featured in a cameo appearance of Flavour’s trending music video “Ada Ada” and “Ogene” music videos.
Harry B Anyanwu is usually casted to play the role of a king or a respectable chief in Nollywood movies. Harry B Anyanwu is a very friendly and kind person to be with. He is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented actors in Nigeria. He knows how to interpret his role very well.
Harry B Anyanwu has acted in more than 100 Nollywood movies which include To Live A Lie, Jaja the Great, The Freedom, October First, Beard Gang, etc. He acts mostly in action, epic, occultic and political movies alongside with Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo, Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo and other top Nollywood celebrities.
Harry B Anyanwu in the cause of his acting career has won few awards which include Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards, Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Lead Actor at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
Harry B Anyanwu is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $700,000.
