Hilda Dokubo Biography and Net Worth

Hilda Dokubo is a famous Nollywood actress, producer, youth advocate, entrepreneur, investor, model and a television personality. She was the former special adviser on youth affairs to Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State. She was born and raised in Buguma, a small town in Asari-Toru, Rivers State in the south southern part of Nigeria. She is the first child in a family of six children.

She is popularly known for her ability to cry in movies. She is very beautiful, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Hilda Dokubo attended St Mary State School in Aggrey Road, Rivers State, Nigeria and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Hilda Dokubo proceeded to Government Girls Secondary School in Rivers State, Nigeria and obtained her West Africa Senior School Certificate.

After completing her secondary school education, Hilda Dokubo proceeded to University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts and Master’s Degrees in Theatre Arts.

During her National Youth Service Year (NYSC), Hilda Dokubo joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1992 and acted in her first movie “Evil Passion” a movie that brought her to limelight.

In 2015, Hilda Dokubo starred in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Stigma” which won her an award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 11^th Africa Movie Academy Awards. In 2015, she also won the Best Outstanding Female Actress in Nigeria at the 12^th Abuja International Film Festival.

Hilda Dokubo has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies which include Forever, Jezebel, Evil Passion, Hour of Grace, Error of the Past, Sweet Mother, Black Maria, End of the Wicked, Onye-Eze, My Good Will, Light & Darkness, A Barber’s Wisdom, My Love, Above Death, In God We Trust, World Apart, With God, Unfaithful, Chameleon, 21 Days With Christ, Gone Forever, Stigma, The CEO, etc.

She always acts mostly in sorrowful and tragic movies and cry often in movies. She is currently one of the most gifted, most creative, most skillful and most talented actresses in Nigeria and knows how to interpret her roles very well.

Apart from acting, Hilda Dokubo is also an aspiring movie producer. She has produced several movies in Nigeria. She is currently married to Karo Mrakpor and the marriage is currently blessed with a beautiful kid named Tuvi Mrakpor.

Hilda Dokubo in the cause of her acting career has won several awards which include Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Golden Icon Movie Academy Awards, Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and City People Movie Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Hilda Dokubo is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $750,000.
