How Nnamdi Kanu & TB Joshua Tried To Save My Marriage To Fani Kayode – Estranged Wife Reveals

Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has again narrated her ordeal as the wife of the former minister. She described her marriage to Femi Fani Kayode as a violent one, adding that some persons including the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, the late T. B. Joshua and other prominent Nigerians tried to settle the rift between her and her estranged husband Fani Kayode.

She stated this during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo. Fani Kayode and Precious Chikwendu have continued to make the headlines since their marriage of seven years collapsed last year with the pair currently in a battle for the custody of their four children.

The former beauty queen had accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain of having mental health challenges. She claimed that Fani Kayode was abusive to her during her pregnancy due to his mental health challenges.

Precious Chikwendu said she could have walked out of the marriage earlier than she did but endured because of her children. According to her words; “Even at the course of the embryo implanting in me, I had the most violent experience, beatings and punches and he would tell me that he would get rid of me. He would ask his bodyguards to take me and lock me up inside.

“The Dasukis have been involved, both Colonel Dasuki Sambo and his wife have been involved. Nnamdi Kanu, even at some point, called me to plead with me. I got a call from the late T. B Joshua to at least come over to Lagos, that he wanted to settle the issue.

“The first thing he is going to ask is for a picture to debunk stories, that is the first thing he does whenever there is a fight. He says it is a cultural thing for the Igbo to be rude and that is why we don’t have a hierarchy. I heard all of that from him. Even the staffs in the house are suffering too, knowing the fact that you are an Igbo staff member is a problem. He says ‘that Igbo boy, I don’t like him, sack him.’”

Precious Chikwendu lamented her inability to see her children since the union crashed over a year ago.

According to her words; “The children are with him, I haven’t seen them since August 2nd, 2020. The court didn’t grant him custody. I am physically prevented from seeing them. Most times, I would go to his house and agitate to see my kids because my kids are in there, and I can’t leave if I don’t see them.

“I don’t know where my kids are, I don’t know the school he changed my sons to. I am told they go to school. The last time I filed a law suit in court against him, they said the children are in school and they are okay,” she stated.
