Tips to Get Rid of Cellulite
1. Dry Brushing
Dry Brushing increases blood circulation, energizes the body, makes a way to get rid of the toxins that are stored in cellulite, therefore, getting rid of the appearance of cellulite, remove dead skin cells and regenerate new cells. Mix half a cup of sugar and a little olive oil, stir and apply in the affected area and use a dry brush that has bristles to massage in a circular motion for 5minutes, wrap it up with a cling wrap and leave it for 15 minutes, untie the wrap and wash it off with warm water, do this twice a week for best results.
2. Lemon and Tomato Juice
Lemons are great source of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps in collagen formation which helps to clear lumpy skin and get rid of the toxins that store fat in the body. Tomatoes help to break down fats. It contains phytochemicals and antioxidants that help fight skin damage, Mix a teaspoon of lemon and two teaspoons of tomato juice to form a paste, apply in the affected area and leave for 20 minutes, wash it off with warm water. Do these once a week.
3. Water
Hydrate your body by drinking two liters of water every day or consume foods that have high water content such as cucumber, watermelons, green tea, etc. Water helps to flush out toxins from your body, encourage circulation, reduce inflammation, stay hydrated and reduce water retention.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey
Apple cider vinegar is a great astringent and anti – microbial. It is loaded with minerals which helps in eliminating toxins, regulate water retention, helps in weight loss and dissolve fat accumulation. Mix 2 spoonful of apple cider vinegar in half cup of water and 1 spoonful of honey. Make a paste and apply on the affected area, leave it for 20minutes, wash it off with warm water. For best results, do these daily.
5. Massage and Exercise
Massage helps to stretch skin tissue and strengthens the skin. Exercise tones the muscle by reducing fats under the skin, tighten the skin and get your blood flowing. You can engage yourself with aerobic exercises such as cycling, swimming, jogging, walking etc to work on your body from every angle. Exercise at least four times a week for 30minutes or more for best results.
6. Eat Healthy
Avoid junk foods, alcohol and foods high in salt. Go for unprocessed foods, foods rich in alkaline and fiber, also consume healthy fats and green leafy vegetables. Eating healthy helps to detoxify toxins from your body, increases the elasticity of your skin, regenerate your cells and create a healthier environment in your body that can help in reducing fats.
7. Seaweed
Seaweed helps in blood circulation which reduces fat accumulation, increases the texture of the skin, making the skin smooth and cellulite free and boosts metabolism because it is an exfoliating agent. Make a paste by mixing three teaspoons of ground seaweed and olive oil; massage the mixture on the affected area for 10minutes before taking your shower.
8. Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper helps in curbing fat, increases blood circulation, eliminating old skin cells and increasing new healthy cells flushing out toxins. Add two teaspoons of cayenne pepper powder in a glass of warm water and drink this daily.
9. Moisturizer
Always moisturize your body daily. These helps to eliminate cellulite from your body, firms the skin, leaving your skin better and smoother. Opt for a natural moisturizer like coconut oil which has saturated fats, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Massage this oil daily.
