How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks Naturally

Stretch marks can be uncomfortable to some people. It can be caused by certain factors which include Genetics, Weight gain, Health conditions, Pregnancy, Puberty, Corticosteroids and Body Building. Some of the home remedies which can help you get rid of those stubborn stretch marks are as follows;

1. Potato juice

Potatoes contain skin lighting enzymes. When applied regularly, it bleaches the skin and reduces the visibility of stretch marks.

2. Aloe vera gel

Remove the outer layer of the aloe vera leaf and take out the sticky gel. Apply the gel regularly and wash off after 2-3 hours.

3. Olive oil and sugar

Olive oil is rich  in moisturizing properties and full of antioxidants. Mix olive oil and sugar to form a scrub.  Apply it to the stretch marks and rub it in for 10 minutes, then rinse.

4. Vitamin C

It is rich in antioxidant that helps our bodies to fight free radicals. Regular intake of Vitamin C helps heal skin scars faster. Foods rich in Vitamin C include citrus fruits, melons, berries etc.

5. Lemon juice

Lemon juice is known for its natural bleaching properties so it helps to lighten marks and reduce the visibility effectively. Apply lemon juice on stretch marks and see it fade away.

6. Castor oil

Apply castor oil on the stretch marks and massage it in a circular motion for 15-20 minutes. After massaging, cover the area with a thin cotton cloth and apply some heat using a heating pad. Do these often.

7. Vitamin E

Vitamin E is also an antioxidant that fights free radicals while nourishing the skin. Foods like almonds, avocado, papaya and olives are rich sources of Vitamin E. Daily consumption of these foods will get rid of stretch marks.

8. Egg white

Egg whites are rich in protein and amino acids which helps to lighten and tighten skin.

9. Argan oil

Vitamin E in argan oil increases the elasticity of the skin and rubbing it on the stretch marks heals the broken tissues and makes the marks fade.
