How To Lose Weight At Home

Putting on weight can happen to anyone. It is always easier to put on weight than losing weight. Sometimes, change of diet may not be the main reason for your weight gain; there are also many factors which can lead to weight gain such as hormonal changes, certain medications, pregnancy, fluid retention, etc.

Here are some natural home remedies that can help you lose weight fast.

1. Ginger

Ginger decreases inflammation, suppresses appetite which makes you feel full and leads to weight loss, get rid of oxidative stress. Ginger has an anti-obesity effect which helps in easy digestion of food and stimulates the body to speed digested food through the colon.  Add a grated ginger to a cup of hot water, steep for 7 minutes and strain. Then, drink.

2. Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin that boosts your metabolism and burn calories. It decreases your appetite and helps you eat less throughout the day, aids in digestive health which boosts the stomach defense against infections and deliver enzymes to stomach. Add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of honey to give it a taste in a glass of water and drink. Do this once daily.

3. Cranberry juice

Cranberry is a rich source of antioxidant that helps in flushing out toxins from the body and protects your body from any cell damage due to free radicals. It is a natural diuretic and flushes out excess water. It combats   diseases and manages cholesterol levels. Make a cranberry juice and drink 3 times daily before every meal.

4. Lemon and Honey

The vitamin c in lemon enables your body to burn off fat and honey   contains fat burning properties. This mixture melts fat and speed up fat loss process. It cleanses the colon and flush undigested foods and toxins out of the body. This is one of the best drinks to take if you are trying to lose   weight. Add the juice of half a lemon and 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of warm water and drink 3 times daily.

5. Apple cider vinegar

This is rich in anti-inflammatory properties that solve most health and skin problems. It also helps in losing weight fast and losing belly fat as well.  Apple cider vinegar increases good HDL cholesterol and reduces bad LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.  The   acetic acid in apple cider vinegar helps in fat burning, reduce fat storage, reduce appetite, improve insulin response and decreases sugar production in the liver. Mix 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and drink twice daily for best results.

6. Carrot juice

This juice is very effective in melting fat and promoting weight loss in your body. Carrot juice is full of fiber that can make you stay   full for a longer period of time. It helps in bile secretion which helps to burn fat quickly. Carrot juices are rich in nutrients which promote healthy digestion. Take two carrots and peel off its skin, blend them and drink the juice every morning after breakfast.

7. Grapefruit and Cucumber drink

Grapefruit and Cucumbers contain a lot of water that helps keep your body hydrated. Grapefruit enhances shedding of calories and increases metabolic rate in the body. Cucumber helps remove toxins, calories and prevents water retention and constipation, they contain a good amount of soluble fiber and aid in weight loss. Add one cup of water, 1 chopped cucumber and the juice of half a grapefruit and blend until smooth. Drink before meal.

Apples are a good source of fiber, polyphenols, water, antioxidants, vitamin c, potassium, vitamin k and several nutrients.  You can consume apples in so many ways either by eating them or taking the juice. Do this daily.

9. Coffee

Coffee is an energy boosting drink. It contains magnesium, antioxidants, potassium and niacin. The caffeine in coffee boosts metabolism and helps you lose weight, increases energy levels and the amount of calories you burn. Black coffee is best for weight loss as it does not contain added sugars.

10. Probiotics

Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when   taken in adequate   amounts, provide health benefits to the body. Probiotics can be in different forms such as foods or supplements. Certain foods like yoghurt contain probiotics. They help regulate healthy gut bacteria. They block the absorption of dietary fat and reduce appetite.
