The General Overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo was recently invited to the annual Mega conference held at Church of God Mission International in Edo state. During his visit, he spoke on the topic, “Focusing on Christ to discover and fulfil a purpose”. In his message, he shared how he was called to serve by God in the year 1976″ as a 21 year old young born again Christian.
He reiterated during his message that for every step he takes, God is always aware and he does not do what God does not command. He further stated that dedication to God and his word has made him get all he currently enjoys.
According to his words; “Many people say I belong to a secret cult and that is why I always put on a white suit, not knowing I put on a white suit because white suits are the cheapest to get”. He further went on to say; “I don’t need any other power, because I belong to a higher cult”.
The man of God who is known for commanding kingdom prosperity through faith told the participants at the conference that the only thing needed to unlock kingdom prosperity is to first seek the kingdom of God.
