A Lagos-based prophet, Elijah Bamidele has stated that he saw a vision of Peter Obi in handcuffs. Peter Obi, who was the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections is currently challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in court. Speaking to his congregation recently, Prophet Elijah Bamidele said he saw Peter Obi in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja.
He warned Peter Obi to be careful about what he says and the interviews he grants, as his words could be used against him. According to his words; “I saw handcuffs in the hands of Peter Obi. This is my counsel for Peter Obi. Be careful. Because I saw a gang-up against him? I saw him in DSS custody. So that his case will not be worse than the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, he should be careful of what he says and the kind of interviews that he grants because they is a gang-up trying to frame him up and put him behind bars. I saw it very clear.”
“Peter Obi should be very careful of what he says this period, especially the interviews he grants, because they want to use his words against him. And I saw handcuff on his hand in DSS custody. Peter Obi, be careful of the kind of interview you grant,” he stated.
It should be noted that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been in detention since he was brought back from Kenya on June 19, 2021, for alleged sponsorship of terrorism among other offences. However, since his unlawful rendition and custody, the south east region have witnessed serious insecurity threats with members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) imposing a sit-at-home-order in the south east region of Nigeria as a civil disobedience in other to secure his release.
Just yesterday Peter Obi started trending on social media especially on Twitter when he said the insecurity in the south east region and the sit-at-home-order is been perpetrated by criminal minded people and not the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) since the group has countless number of times insisted that they are not the once issuing the sit-at-home-order.
Since he made that statement on Twiiter, Peter Obi has been heavily criticized especially from members of the APC, with some critics accusing him of been a member of the IPOB.
