Jailing Nnamdi Kanu Won’t Stop Biafra Agitation – Fr Mbaka Prophesied

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, has said that jailing Nnamdi Kanu is not the solution to stop Biafra agitations or any secessionist group that wants to breakout of Nigeria. He said this due to the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to the words of Fr Mbaka; “The God in me will be in the jail with him because he says when you are suffering, I am also suffering. He says when you are afflicted, God is also afflicted, a place where the state prisoners were confined, He was there in prison.

“Lift your hands, we minister to all the prisons in the universe, especially in our country where our people are, we minister speedy release. Again, let our leaders do the needful because when the major catastrophe happens in the future, they will not be exempted.

If they like, let them jail everybody, that is not the solution, let them feel the pains in the eyes of teeming Nigerians. Go to the North, people are suffering yet a few are millionaires in Dollars, the same with other parts of the country.

“Intimidation will not solve the problem. I know that the real people who should be in prison are those arresting people and locking them up. I know that after this message, they will invite me again.

“They are gradually succeeding in their gimmicks and tricks to make sure men of God are silent. Look at our medical experts, hot brains graduating from medical schools, where do they work? Most of them work in America, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, because they is no job for them here,” Fr Mbaka stated.

IPOB is a pro-Biafra group which has been proscribed by the Nigerian government. Its main aim is to restore an independent state of Biafra in the South East region through referendum.

The Ex-Presidential candidate under the Young Progressives Party (YPP) has stated that there are five recommendations he gave to the Nigerian leader, which include asking him to inaugurate a Truth and Reconciliation Commission that would facilitate a dialogue between the Presidency and the secessionist groups in the South East.

Many Igbos feel politically and economically marginalized by the APC led government of Mohammadu Buhari, and has continued to agitate for the Republic of Biafra. Several call have been made from the region and other parts of the country that President Buhari should encourage peace talks with these secessionist groups.

However, Kingsley Moghalu via his twitter page stated that President Mohammadu Buhari has decided to discuss with the aggrieved secessionist groups in the south eastern region. He maintained that he is encouraged by the decision of the president to dialogue with IPOB and other secessionist group in the country.
