James Ikechukwu Esomugha popularly known as Jim Iyke is a famous Nollywood actor, producer, director, model, rapper, singer, songwriter, recording artist, entrepreneur and a television personality. He was born on 25th September 1976 in Libreville, Gabon in the western part of Africa. He is currently 47 years old. He is originally from Ogwugwu village in Enugu Agidi town, a small town in Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is the only boy in a family of eight children

He is referred to as Nollywood Bad-boi. He has been regarded as one of the highest paid actors in Nigeria. He is always known for playing action and romantic roles in movies.
