Joe Igbokwe Have Urged FG To Declare State Of Emergency In The South East

Nigerian politician and engineer who goes by the name of Joe Igbokwe has urged that a State of emergency be declared in the South East by the Federal Government. Joe Igbokwe has proposed that soldiers should take over the South East until bloodshed is reduced in that zone, and sanity returns.

According to the words of Joe Igbokwe; “What is happening in the south east is no longer a normal thing. I want the Federal Government to declare state of emergency in the south east and let soldiers take over until sanity returns,” he stated.

Recall that Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, was recently kidnapped, killed and beheaded in Anambra State, and it was after that incident that Joe Igbokwe dropped the post on social media.

This isn’t the first time a case of violence has occurred in the South East, and in response to the occurrence, Joe Igbokwe proposed that the Federal Government of Nigeria to declare a state of emergency in the south eastern region.
