John Felix Anthony Cena popularly known as WWE superstar John Cena is an American professional wrestler, actor, rapper, bodybuilder and reality television show host. He is currently signed to WWE, where he is a free agent, appearing for both the Raw and SmackDown brands. John Cena was born on 23rd April 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts in the United States of America. He is currently 40 years old.
His father name is John Cena while his mother name is Carol Cena. He is the grandson of baseball player Tony Lupien. He is the second oldest of five brothers, the others being Dan, Matt, Steve, and Sean.
After his primary education, John Cena attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts in the United States of America, where he completed his secondary education. After completing his secondary education, John Cena was admitted to Cushing Academy, a private boarding school. After graduating from Cushing Academy, John Cena attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts in the United States of America for his college education.
In college, he was a member of the college football team, wearing number 54, which is still used on some of his WWE merchandise. In 1998 John Cena graduated from Springfield College with a degree in Exercise Physiology. After his college education, John Cena pursued a career in bodybuilding and worked as a driver for a limousine company.
In 1999, John Cena started training to become a professional wrestler at Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) in California-based Ultimate University operated by Rick Bassman. In April 2000, John Cena won the Ultimate Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and held the title for 27 days. John Cena wrestled for Ultimate Pro Wrestling for one year and quit in March 2001.
After quitting Ultimate Pro Wrestling in March 2001, John Cena signed a development contract deal with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002.
That same year 2002, John Cena started his musical career as a rapper from 2002-2004, his skills and style in rapping earned him fame within the audience on SmackDown. John Cena was later labeled “the most polarizing professional wrestler ever” by industry commentator Jim Ross, as his character in the wrestle mania has many supporters and detractors.
Due to his fame in WWE, John Cena became the public face for WWE for ten years. John Cena has been listed as the greatest WWE superstar of all time by John Layfield, Paul Heyman and Kurt Angle.
Throughout his WWE career, John Cena has won 25 champions, with 16 reigns as a world champion. John Cena has won WWE Champion 13 times, WWE Heavyweight Champion 3 times and United States Champion 5 times. John Cena has been honored in the WWE Hall of Fame as the most accomplished WWE Superstar.
In 2005, John Cena released his rap album “You Can’t See Me” which debuted at number 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
In 2006, John Cena joined the American movie industry popularly known as Hollywood and acted in his first movie “The Marine” John Cena has acted in over 20 Hollywood movies which include Legendary, The Marine, 12 Rounds, The Reunion, Trainwreck, Sisters, etc.
John Cena has also appeared in many television shows which include Manhunt, Deal or No Deal, MADtv, Saturday Night Live, Psych, Parks and Recreation. John Cena is also the host of American Grit on Fox. John Cena has been involved in numerous philanthropic causes, most notably with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he spend 70 percent of his wealth for the less privileged.
In 2009, John Cena got married to Elizabeth Huberdeau and divorced her in 2012 due to a terrible misunderstanding. John Cena is currently married to Niki Bella and lives in a mansion in Tampa, Florida in the United States of America with his family.
John Cena is currently one of the richest and most influential celebrity in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $55 million.
