Pope Obumneme Odonwodo professionally known as Junior Pope Odonwodo is a famous Nollywood actor, model, film producer and a television personality. He was born on 7th May 1984 in Bamenda, Cameroon to Mr. and Mrs. Luke Odonwodo. He is currently 38 years old. Junior Pope Odonwodo is originally from Ukehe in Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria but grew up in Cameroon in West Africa.
He is very handsome, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles, he knows how to interpret his roles very well and can feature in any character given to him by a movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
Junior Pope Odonwodo completed both his primary and secondary school education in Cameroon and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate before relocating to Nigeria to further his studies.
After completing his primary and secondary school education in Cameroon, Junior Pope Odonwodo returned to Nigeria and proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
Junior Pope Odonwodo has acted in more than 150 Nollywood movies which include Secret Adventures, Mad sex, Bitter Generation, Vengeance of Bullet, The Cat, The Generals, Wrong Initiation, etc. In 2010, he won the award for Nollywood Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the Entertainment Factory Awards.
In 2006, Junior Pope Odonwodo joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and started attending movie auditions and acting as a minor character in movies. He always plays the role of bodyguard, palace attendant and servant in movies.
In 2007, Junior Pope Odonwodo rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Secret Adventures” a movie directed by Tchidi Chikere. According to him, it was the award winning movie director “Tchidi Chikere” that gave him the lead character that brought him to limelight.
On 26th July 2014 Junior Pope Odonwodo got married to his long time girlfriend Jennifer Awele Okpuno and the marriage is blessed with beautiful kids. Junior Pope Odonwodo is popularly known for acting criminal, villain, armed robber, militant and hit man roles in movies alongside with Emma Ehumadu, Sylvester Madu, Zubby Michael, Jim Iyke, Alaso Wariboko, Gentle Jack, Hanks Anuku, Jerry Amilo, Ernest Asuzu.
