Kafui Danku is a famous Ghanaian actress, model, producer and a television personality. She was born and bred in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana in the western part of Africa. She is very beautiful, gifted, creative, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Ghana.
She wanted to become a journalist while growing up but ended up as an actress. Kafui Danku attended Mawuli Primary School in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Kafui Danku proceeded to O.L.A Girls High School in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing her primary and secondary school education, Kafui Danku proceeded to University of Cape Coast in Ghana and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language.
After her graduation from the university, she attended several seminars and trainings in film making from various countries such as South Africa and the United States of America.
She rose to prominence after acting in the popular movies “4play Reloaded” and “Heal my Heart”. The first movie she has ever produced is “Letter to my Mother”. Her passion has captured the attention of fans and movie lovers throughout Africa.
Kafui Danku is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented actresses in Ghana. She has acted in over 70 Ghanaian movies which include Heal my Heart, Any Other Monday, Letter to my Mother, 4play Reloaded, Devil in a Dress, Happy Death Day, I Do, etc. She acts mostly in love and romantic movies alongside with Van Vickers, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Nadia Buari, Majid Michel and other top Ghanaian actors and actresses.
As a personality icon in today’s Ghana Film Industry, Multiple Award Winning Actress/Producer Kafui Danku is best known for her charm, beauty and poise as she combines creativity with confidence and commitment. In 2004, she was crowned Miss Greater Accra, and emerged as a finalist in 2004 Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant.
In 2013, she won the award for Best New Actress in Ghana at the City People Entertainment Awards. In 2014, she won the award for Best Supporting Actress of the Year in Ghana at the City People Entertainment Awards.
In 2014, she also won the award for Entertainment Person of the Year at the All Africa Media Networks Awards. In 2014, she won the Pan Africa Distinguished Achievers Awards.
In 2015, she won the award for Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the Extraordinary People Awards. In 2015, she also won the award for Best Lead Actress at the Afrifimo Awards.
Kafui Danku is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Ghana with an estimated net worth of $400,000.
