Kristine Hermosa is a Philippines famous actress, model, singer and a television personality. She was born on 9^th September 1983 in Masbate, Philippines. She is currently 34 years old. Her first appearance on television was in 1996. In 2000, she became very popular after starring in the romantic television drama series “The Promise” where she played the role of Yna alongside with Jericho Rosales who played the role of Angelo.

Kristine Hermosa is the second child in a family of four children. Her ethnicity is Spanish, Chinese and Filipino. Her mother is of Spanish descent and her father is of Chinese and Filipino descent. For her screen name, she used her mother’s maiden name “Hermosa” (which translates to “beautiful” in Spanish).

Kristine Hermosa is very beautiful, creative, gifted and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. She acts mostly on romantic love films alongside with Jericho Rosales.

On 21^st September 2004, Kristine Hermosa got married to a fellow actor, Diether Ocampo. Their marriage ended in a divorce and was officially annulled on 30^th January 2009.

After the divorce and successful annulment of her first marriage, Kristine Hermosa got married again to another fellow actor and television host, Oyo Sotto on 12^th January 2011 and their marriage is currently blessed with four beautiful children.

Kristine Hermosa was discovered at the age of 12 years old when her older sister Kathleen auditioned for a show in ABS-CBN. She was cast in the 1998 weekly drama series “Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako”.

In 2016, Kristine Hermosa was part of GMA Network’s weekly sitcom “Hay, Bahay” with her husband Oyo Boy Sotto, Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas. Kristine Hermosa is well known internationally in Asia, North America, Europe and Africa for her role as Yna in the popular television drama series “The Promise” which was shot in 2000 alongside with Jericho Rosales.

Her breakout to mega superstar came when she played the lead character in the popular television drama series “The Promise” alongside with actor Jericho Rosales. The success of the television series made Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales the phenomenal loveteam of their time and has since appeared in different television series together including blockbuster film “Forevermore”.
