Malami’s Comment On Open Grazing Ban Shows Buhari Govt Supports Killer Herdsmen

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan has stated that the statement made by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami on the banning of open grazing in the south has shown that the President Muhammadu Buhari led government is supporting Fulani killer herdsmen.

Abubakar Malami had on Wednesday said the Southern governors had no right to prohibit the liberty and freedom of movement of any Nigerian. According to him, the southern governors’ declaration was as good as northern governors banning spare part trading in the North.

Reno Omokri wondered why the Northern states can ban beer and pig farming while Southern states cannot ban open grazing.

According to his words; “The comment by President Buhari’s Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, that banning open grazing is like banning spare parts trading, shows this regime is fully behind Fulani killer herdsmen. If Northern states can ban beer and pig farming, Southern states can ban open grazing,” he said.
