Maureen Solomon is a famous Nollywood actress, model and a television personality. She was born and bred in Isochi, a small town in Abia State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is the second child in a family of five children. She is very beautiful, creative, gifted, skillful and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Maureen Solomon is originally from Isochi, a small town in Abia State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, where she completed both her primary and secondary school education and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. In 2001, Maureen Solomon joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and started attending movie auditions.

She was featured as a minor character in movies alongside with upcoming actors during her early stage in Nollywood. She became popular after starring in the popular Nollywood movie “Not without My Daughter” a movie produced and directed by Lucky Joe. Maureen Solomon rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Women Affair” a movie produced by Annex Merchandise.

Maureen Solomon has acted in more than 70 Nollywood movies which include Not without My Daughter, Women Affair, Parker, Calabash, etc. She acts mostly in sorrowful, epic, action, love and romantic movies alongside with Yul Edochie, Kenneth Okonkwo, Jim Iyke, Emeka Ike, Desmond Elliot, Ramsey Noah and a host of other top Nollywood celebrities. Maureen Solomon is currently married to her million husband, Mr. Okereke and the marriage is blessed with beautiful kids.

However, since her marriage, Maureen Solomon has been off the screen focusing on her role as a mother and a house wife to her husband and children. Maureen Solomon in the cause of her acting career has won few awards which include Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
