Meet the beautiful daughter of John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu who looks exactly like her father. Her name is Chelsea Okafor and she is just 9 years old. She has a striking resemblance with her father John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu. John Okafor who is popularly known as Mr Ibu is a renowned and an award-winning Nigerian comic actor, film maker, writer, entrepreneur, television personality, movie producer and a comedian born on the 17th of October 1961 in Enugu, Nigeria.

He hails from Umunekwu Village in Eziokwe, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu over the years has carved a niche for himself in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood because of the kind of roles he play in movies. He is been regarded as one of Nigeria’s most loved and talented comic characters of all time.

John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu has been in the Nigerian movie industry for over two decades and has contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood in Nigeria and rest of the worlds. He started acting back in the days of soap operas at the Anambra Broadcasting Service which dated back in 1997.

He rose to prominence after starring as Mr Ibu in hilarious 2004 comic movie “Mr Ibu” and “Mrs Ibu in London” a movie that made him a global figure. Ever since then he has produced, acted and directed several hit movies which includes: A Fool At 40, Nicodemus, Mr Ibu, Informant, Bullet, Vuga, Agony, James & John, Sweet Mama, Recharge Card and many others.

John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu is currently married to Stella Marris Chinyere Okafor whom he fondly calls Chibest or First Class. The couples have been together for over ten years and they are blessed with three children which comprises of two boys and one girl. Mr Ibu’s only daughter is identified as Chelsea Okafor.
