Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior popularly known as Neymar or Neymar Jr is a famous world football legend, athlete, professional footballer and a model. He currently plays for his country Brazil national team and French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as a forward striker. He was the former striker of Barcelona and has often been considered as one of the best player in the world.

He is widely regarded as one of the richest footballer of all time. He was born on 5^th February 1992 in Mogi das Cruzes, Sao Paulo in Brazil to Neymar Santos Sr. and Nadine da Silva. He is currently 26 years old. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful and talented. He inherited his name from his father, who is a former footballer and became his son’s advisor as Neymar’s talents began to grow.

In 2003, Neymar moved with his family to Sao Vicente, where he began playing for youth side Portuguesa Santisa. Then, later in 2003, they moved to Santos, where Neymar joined Santos FC. With the success of his youth career and added income, the family bought their first property, a house next to the Vila Belmiro. Their quality of family life improved.

When Neymar was just 15 years old, his earnings was 10,000 reais per month. When Neymar turned 16 years old, his earnings increased to 125,000 reais per month. At the age of 17, Neymar signed his first full professional contract and was upgraded to the Santos first team; from there he began signing his first sponsorship deals.

Neymar began playing football at an early age and was soon spotted by Santo FC who offered him a contract in 2003, where he was inducted into their youth academy, which has in the past, produced Brazilian internationals like Coutinho, Clodoaldo, Diego, Elano and Alex. He also joined the likes of Pepe, Pele and Robinho in starting out his career at the club.

While in the youth academy, Neymar met Paulo Henrique Ganso and both of them became good friends in the process. At the aged of 14 years old, Neymar travelled to Spain to join the Real Madrid youth team, at the time when Real Madrid had stars like Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Roberto Carlos and Robinho.

Neymar came into prominence at an early age at Santos, where he made his professional debut at the aged of 17 years old. He helped the club win two successive Campeonato Paulista championships, a Copa do Brasil and the 2011 Copa Libertadores, Santos’ first continental title since 1963.

In 2011 and 2012, Neymar was twice named the South American Footballer of the Year before relocating to Europe to join Barcelona. As part of Barça’s attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, Neymar won the Continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UFA Champions League in the 2014 – 2015 season, followed the next year by the domestic double.

In 2015, Neymar came third for the FIFA Ballon d’Or Awards. In August 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a transfer worth €222 million, making him the world’s most expensive player.

Neymar has score 53 goals in 83 matches for Brazil since debuting at the age 18 years old. He is currently the fourth highest goal scorer for his national team. He was a key player in Brazil’s victories at the 2011 South American Youth Championship, which he finished as the leading goal scorer and the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as player of the tournament.

Neymar’s participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2015 Copa America was cut short by injury and a suspension respectively, but the next year he captained Brazil to their first Olympic gold medal in Men’s Football at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Neymar is famously known for his dribbling and goal scoring skill, and with his ability, he has earned comparisons to former Brazil and Santos forward Pele. Off the pitch, Neymar is ranked among the world’s most prominent sportsmen in the world. SportsPro named him the most marketable athlete in the world in 2012 and 2013 and ESPN cited him as the world’s fourth-most famous athlete in 2016.

Neymar is currently one of the richest and most influential footballer in the world with an estimated net worth of $150 million.
